The Project Team
Senior Managers in each of the three merging organisations are working with their teams to develop the new college and build on the best of existing ways of working.
The Project Manager is facilitating and supporting the college staff with their development process, whilst supporting and developing the governance of the new college with the Shadow Board.
The team in Shetland Island Council which led on the initial Business Case which led to the "legacy college" boards' decision to merge, is now focusing on facilitating Shetland Islands Council’s transfer of systems, processes and assets (including employees of the SIC working at the colleges) to the new college.
The initial Full Business Case completed in December 2018, facilitated the decision by the Shetland Islands Council and College Board, and NAFC Marine Centre.
